KRML Jazz and Blues Radio - INFO

Since 1957, KRML has filled the airwaves of Carmel, Santa Cruz, Salinas, and the Monterey Bay with quality programming and been proud to be part of the Central Coast’s growth and development.

The only radio station broadcasting jazz 24 hours a day, KRML’s reputation and popularity are based on the quality of its on-air personalities and their commitment to jazz music.

Clint Eastwood featured KRML in the 1971 film "Play Misty for Me". The call letters and studio were featured prominently as the Eastwood character, jazz disc jockey Dave Garver, came to grips with an obsessive fan.

From its studios in the Eastwood Building and next to the world famous Hogsbreath Inn Restaurant on San Carlos Street near Fifth in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, KRML radio presents the best of live and programmed jazz and blues. As it has for half a century, KRML radio will continue to deliver a satisfying variety of great jazz and blues with interesting personalities to jazz fans throughout the Central Coast – and now with streaming audio – throughout the world.
